What is Sustainability Applied?

Sustainability Applied 2013 is all about challenging the status quo, re-thinking what is possible, and unlocking hidden value.

The conference will incorporate a dynamic and interactive mix of keynote presentations, case study panels, plenary sessions and workshops, to talk about, share and transfer knowledge that can be applied and implemented. In addition, the BLOOM Sustainability Leadership Awards will be presented to recognize exemplary achievements in integrating sustainability.

Network and create new business relationships with private and public sector leaders, decision-makers and implementers from across Canada and around the world, to harvest the returns that come with sustainability applied.

"You both developed and executed an outstanding two day conference. My objectives of gaining an enhanced knowledge on sustainability and making new networking connections were exceeded. Thanks for the very warm welcome I received from your team."

James E. Cooper, Manager Business Planning and Capital Sourcing, Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development

"Congrats on the conference. I thought there were some very interesting discussions and clear appetite for more amongst the participants."

Fraser Thompson, Senior Fellow, McKinsey Global Institute

"I would just like to commend the amount of effort and the thinking behind putting together the panel, the panellists, the topic – it by far exceeded all expectations, so a big congratulations to the organizers, because all of the interesting conversations don't just happen, they actually are representative of a lot of thought."

Valerie Chort, Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP

"I have done hundreds of trade shows spanning almost 50 years. This could be one of the best for quality versus quantity. The ability to peer to peer network with so many leading sustainability organizations and delegates was beyond my expectations. I also did not fully realize what sustainability was all about and the significant business value it can provide to organizations."

Todd Oliver, Director, Program Delivery, Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium

"The engaging speakers, coupled with your hard work and dedication, have made the past two days an enriching learning experience for me. I look forward to seeing this conference continue to grow in future years."

Deanna Mendolia, ChemTRAC Program Consultant, Toronto Public Health
